I’ve been back in the lab scripting a vision for Mufasa: The Lion King that shifts the focus! While we’re all excited for Barry Jenkins' official take, I wanted to see if I could "fix" the pacing and tone to feel even more like the epic legend Rafiki would tell.
In my "Orphan King" concept, I’ve re-contextualized the CinemaCon and D23 fragments to build a pitch that explores Mufasa’s journey from an orphaned cub to a legendary leader. I got deep into the edit to re-cook these fragments—blending custom color grading and my signature "Den" sound design to create a more cinematic experience!

The Yeti’s Edit: I’ve re-baked these fragments with custom visual effects (enhanced lighting and shadow depth) to give the Pride Lands a more "legendary" feel.
Den Commentary: Every scene choice is scripted to explore the early bond between Mufasa and Taka (Scar) before the rivalry began.
