[read description i put effort into it]

Ok first of all, the fact that I finished editing half a year after the actual trip is actually insane. I went to Japan on Aug 2023. I didn't start editing until like Late Jan 2024, and left it at 98% done from Mid Feb until literally yesterday.
In fact, I could've started editing while I was still there. Like, as soon as the day ends and I arrive back at the hotel, I immediately start editing footages from that same day. I could've done that if I really wanted to. I mean, I brought my laptop there and barely used it. Nothing was really stopping me lmfao.
I love doing these. Editing can be super fun, but only when you're flowing. I'm such an undisciplined soul that I shouldn't rely on that and I probably shouldn't even be starting these big editing projects until I get that problem sorted out.
I'll tell you why. The only reason why I'm still able to edit and upload this that long after the fact is because the existence of this video relies on nothing. It's just another vlog.
I literally had to abandon an editing project that I really liked, which was my building commentary on "Twenty Four" by ZeroSR. Now, I don't know about you guys, but I can't name a single level that isn't an extreme demon that still gets talked about more than a week after it's out. So if you wanna make content surrounding that kinda stuff, you either work fast, or you might as well abandon it and suck it up.
It's one of those hobbies that I like to call "timed hobbies". Something you do purely out of love, yet OWE something to, it being time. At least so long as you attach it's value to an external thing like other people's attention.
This isn't necessarily about "being in the YouTube game" or "being a good content creator". I don't monetize anything on this channel because truthfully, I don't care about making money through ILRELL, I don't care about content like that, I just use this channel to post stuff that I like to do mostly related to GD. But, even if the only thing you value is the SHARING aspect, you still gotta give people a reason to care or at least NOT brush you off.
And before any of y'all call me out for the hypocrisy of saying all this while not having given anybody a reason to care about me beyond my GD shit, I'm very well aware that the only people who are gonna watch this video are likely just gonna be my friends and GD people who REALLY fw me. This is not for the general public and I'm ok with that.

This was one of the most enriching grass-touching sessions I've ever engaged in, legit. I love that country to bits, I promise you this won't be my last time going there.
