Caldera Kauai hot tub help: Circulation system gurgles loudly with ozonator
As you can see my hot tub is dead silent when the ozonator is removed from the system. However, with ozone, or any air in any amount, the tub gurgles very loudly and sputters air irregularly in the tub.
It did this with my original ozonator, which I recently replaced, and it continued to do this. I've experimented with adding an inline valve in the ozone air line to reduce the flow of air introduced to the water and that helped quiet it down briefly, but after four days it was back to what you can hear in the video.
Any help is much appreciated. I'd very much like to retain the ozonator to keep the tub clean but this is way too loud. Something is wrong and I can't figure it outi.
