Easy guide on how to take off with the throw and go method with your paraglider, miniwing or speedwing.
Throw and Go take off is a skill that looks amazing, but it's also much easier than you may have thought. The most important thing is that you learn how to ground handling your wing!
To master a perfect throw and go with you paragliding, miniwing or speedflying wing you need to:
1) Prepare your glider and sort your lines.
2) Start packing your wing in "mushroom" position, while keeping the A risers separeted from all the other lines.
3) Bring all the lines to the other hand and throw it.
4) Take a few steps back and pull (input) on the A risers that you kept holding in the other hand, to help your wing getting inflated.
5) If the wing doesn't come up in a symmetrical way, adjust the direction (ground handling skills!)
Important: The intention of these videos is not to provide a guide on HOW TO speedfly, as this should only be done under certified instruction and can easily be fatal.
Instead, my aim is to show a different technique for taking off, but this will never replace a professional instruction.
