Speed and glide comparison between Flare Line 13, Ozone Rapido 3 11 (R3X) and Level Wings Flame light 13 at Kronplatz. Take off weight (included all the equipment & glider) is around 80kg.
Unfortunately i dont have the gps data for the flame and the rapido.. but last times i checked gps speed of the rapido it was around 65-70 when flying straight.. it feels like the line is somewhat between 10 and 15 km/h faster than the Rapido 11, especially on steeper parts where you can go hands fully up.
Flame 13 is of course slower than the R3X 11, but the speed difference is not crazy noticable, because the rapido can just fly straight on that flat part, while the flame needs to make lots of turns to stay low which builds up energy adding some speed.
