Below The Surface Water Ripples Effect done in Adobe After Effects |

Had a little fun in the woods today. I wanted to see if I could make an effect where it seemed like I was touching the surface of the water. The inspiration came from a scene from the animated movie Final Fantasy: The Spirits Within (2001).
I laid my Samsung S7 edge on the ground and got up on a log to do a quick scene where I tried to keep the balance while dipping my toe in the "water."
Then I went back to my apartment and fired up Adobe After Effects to play a bit with the Wave World and Caustics effects and volumetric lighting. I hope you like the result.
