Shaking Things Up: Earthquake Simulator in UE5
As a demonstration, I built an immersive experience with a simple setup that simulated an earthquake on a construction site.
The shaking data (acceleration and gyroscope readings) is sent via the UDP server straight to Unreal Engine.
The phone is attached to a cutting board surrounded by RC car shock absorbers to simulate the ground moving.
