Sometimes when you are working alone, you need another hand. A BENCH JACK is exactly that. Something to hold the other end of the board when no-one else is around. I built this one with the moving end of a pipe clamp and shop-made base. If you don't currently have one, you should take the time to make one. Below is a link to Amazon for the pipe clamp.
