The Japanese Destroyer Minekaze
The Minekaze was the lead ship of the Minekaze-class destroyers, built for the Imperial Japanese Navy in the early 1920s. As one of the fastest destroyers of its time, Minekaze played a critical role in Japan's interwar naval strategy, and though it was somewhat outdated by World War II, it continued to serve in various capacities throughout the conflict.
