Marshall 2204 into re-coned vintage greenbacks clean
A second clip of what a Marshall 2204 going into two re-coned greenback speakers sounds like. One frame is a 1970 "pre-Rola" greenback and the other is a 1974 "Cream back". I made this for a thread on the gear page.
For this clip, the guitar is run straight into the amp with no pedals or effects in front. The EQ, presence and pre-amp gain are all set to noon. Due to the lack of boost in front, the volume is one 1 1/2.
It was like being naked with no pedals.
