Quick clip of my Laney LA30BL doing what it's supposed to do. Many of the demos you see for this amp just plain suck. No one buys it because they want to play it clean, they buy it because they want to sound like Tony F*cking Iommi. Yes, it's got a lot of headroom but who cares? It was made to play Sabbath riffs, not smooth jazz. It's loud AF too. In this clip the thing was barely over 1 on the gain knob.
For all those that care, the signal chain is as follows - '80s Greco '60's SG Special copy, Laney LA30BL, '70s Marshall 2045 2x12 cab with '70s 25W blackbacks, Big Muff Pi, Analogman Beano Boost and an MXR Dyna Comp. I don't remember all the amp or pedal settings since this was done over a year ago. Shot on my phone in my basement. Yar.
