(3/4) How to Annotate Orthophotos: Add heights and Dimensions
In this video tutorial, we will be discussing the process of annotating consolidated orthophotos. First, we will adjust the screen settings for better visibility and position annotation blocks for elevation datum lines. Next, we will adjust the elevation lines to the correct level and copy text annotations to the corresponding elevations and sections. We will use fit marks to copy elements to plan views, ensuring precise placement. We will then add annotations for elevation heights and sections by drawing reference lines and placing annotation blocks accordingly. In elevation views, we will place annotations precisely using reference lines, while in sections, we will copy annotation blocks directly to the appropriate locations. Similarly, we will use annotation tools to add dimension styles and accurately annotate various elements in plan views. This systematic approach ensures that annotations are placed correctly, enhancing the clarity and usability of the orthophotos for further analysis.
