Tucked away in Mount Hawthorn is a derelict site that appears to have once operated as a petrol station, before later being used by Midway Taxi Management.

There’s very little information about its history, but physical clues still remain. Beneath the surface, there are signs of underground fuel storage, along with remnants of old pump infrastructure. At one point, I came across an exposed pipe set into the ground — likely connected to where a fuel pump once stood.

Now abandoned and covered in graffiti, the site feels frozen between its past and present. Filmed at night, it has a quiet but unsettling atmosphere.

If anyone knows more about this location, feel free to share — I’d be keen to learn its full story.
