On 17 February 2026 I departed Mauritius on a direct overnight flight to Perth, Western Australia.
This video follows the journey from departure at Sir Seewoosagur Ramgoolam International Airport in Mauritius to arrival at Perth Airport the next morning. After takeoff we get the final night views of Mauritius before crossing the Indian Ocean.
As we approach Australia, the first sights of the coastline appear followed by Rottnest Island and the Perth metropolitan area. The flight continues over Kwinana, Baldivis, the Perth Hills and Gosnells before landing at Perth Airport.
Watch as the aircraft turns over the Perth Hills and lines up for landing, with views of suburbs, lakes, roads and landmarks before touchdown.
