Basic First Aid Virtual Patch Program
Join Girl Program Specialist Tia Vaught live as we complete another virtual patch program together—Basic First Aid. Our Virtual Patch Programming helps kids continue to learn while schools are closed, and you don't need to be a Girl Scout to participate—it’s for everyone and every grade level!
MATERIALS NEEDED:
• Pre-made first aid kit (optional)
• Band aids
• Alcohol prep pad
• Note cards or post-its
• Tin container (Girl Scout tin or small plastic container with a lid
• Antiseptic ointment or pad
• Sucker or hard candy
• Gauze pad
• Safety pin
• Q tip
• cotton ball
• old dish towel, piece of cloth, t-shirt (any or all of these)
• phone (optional)
• bandage or gauze roll
• Stuffed animal, doll, or practice patient
HOW TO GET THE PATCH: The First Aid patch can be purchased from our GSWPA shops for $1.25 by completing our Online Patch Order Form found at gswpa.org/patchorderform. Fun patches can be worn on the back of Girl Scout's vest or sash.
