Old movie effect Super 8 style footage in after effects)
I actually didn't follow a turoial for once! I did however, download the 'Old film effect' form video co pilliot. So credits for that. But yeah, although i don't want to 'fake' the old fim footage look, i thought i'd see how it looks when you do. (Especially after discovering it'll cost like £30 for 3 1/2 minutes footage on an actual super 8 camera once it's developed and digitized etc.) Obvoiusly the content doesnt fit with the era this effect would go with. but i did also get to try out my 'bulb lighting up' effect. It's not very well seen in this - which probably good, cos it wasn't the most convincing thing. But there are lights cast on to the girls jumper and face etc - but once in this style you can only really see the light bulb light up. Ahwell. Anyway I had fun making this so enjoy.
