Santa Test - After Effects 2D Animation mixed with real footage
Just a silly test with a Santa animation. I'm going to use the Santa animation in a proper animated card this year, but here I have used him to test out some random effects that I've been meaning to try out for a while now. I purposely shook the camera round at one point so that i could try tracking a animation that moves across the screen for the first time, turns out, i don't really know how to do that, hence him coming apart a little when he jumps. I added a reflection, and some color corrections to try make him look more in the scene. It's the first time I've tried this so I'm quite happy and now plan on trying it in something properly in the near future :) And spending longer on it to get it right lol
