Tolland MA and Granville MA Volunteer Fire Departments train in a mutual aid exercise to keep the fire Engine(s) at the fire scene supplied, allowing it to put water on fire without water-main infrastructure in place for our rural communities. Water is shuttled from Dry Hydrants, Ponds, Lakes, Rivers, etc... in a coordinated effort to keep the supply demand of Fire Engine fed using Portable Retention Ponds. Tankers make continuous shuttle runs for as long as the demand is required.
