Our Crops at Strutt and Parker Farms
There is work every month of the year with the different crops that Farm Manager Andrew Cook grows. With each of his crops - oilseed rape, peas and wheat - he shows you what there is to see and do to keep the plants growing well.
By July it’s time to get the combine harvesters ready to gather in the harvest from the fields. The first to be brought into the barn is the oilseed rape, then peas and finally wheat. Then the whole farming year starts all over again and it’s time to plant seeds in the fields.
