How to trim and split in blender | Shortcuts EXPLAINED

Trimming and splitting are common editing techniques used in video and animation production. Here's how to do it in Blender:
To Trim:
Open the Blender Video Sequence Editor (VSE) by selecting it from the workspace type selector at the top of the Blender window.
Import your video or animation by clicking on the "Add" menu and selecting "Movie."
Drag the video strip to the VSE timeline.
Click and drag the edges of the video strip to trim it. You can also use the "G" key to grab the edges of the strip and move them manually.
Once you've trimmed the strip, you can export your edited video by clicking on the "Render" button at the top of the screen.
To Split:
Follow steps 1-3 above to import and add your video or animation to the VSE timeline.
Move the playhead to the frame where you want to split the video.
Press the "K" key to add a cut or split at the playhead position.
Click and drag the edges of the split strips to adjust the length of each.
To remove a section of the video, select the split strip and press the "X" key to delete it.
Once you've made all your edits, you can export your edited video by clicking on the "Render" button at the top of the screen.
Note: These techniques can be applied to both video and audio strips in Blender's VSE.
