Burnt Clay | Making a Sponge Holder Out of Clay
I was putting my dish sponge on the counter like a complete savage, so I decided I should make a proper place to store my sponge when not in use. I've made different sponge dishes over the years--I decided to make this one because it is a common simple design. You only need to make a standard cup and then cut out slots for the sponge to sit. Be careful though, because once the slots are cut out the cup becomes very weak and is therefore easy to break before it's fired!
