Burnt Clay | Making a slipcast ceramic ornament
This is how I slipcast my porcelain ornaments.
First I made a plaster mold using a prototype that I made from clay.
Then I slipcast it using porcelain slip. After the bisque firing, I glazed the bottom half of each ornament and fired it in the kiln again.
