How to Set up a cPanel Email Account in Outlook 2019 - Desktop App
In this tutorial, I will take you through the steps on how to set up a cPanel Email Account with Outlook 2019.
I will be setting up my [email protected] email account with outlook.
Step 1
Open your Outlook 2019. Click on File on the Menu Bar on the upper left corner. Click on Add Account. Enter your cPanel email account in the field provided and click on Connect. Wait for the account to be added.
A pop-up with the tile Choose Account Type appears.
Step 2
Click on the IMAP. The IMAP Account Setting page opens. Under the Incoming Mail Section,
Enter mail. your domain name in the Server field provided. My domain name is sh-demo.com so I will enter mail. sh-demo.com in the server field and 993 as the Port Number
Select SSL/TLS For the Encryption Method, and Tick the Require login using Secure Password Authentication (SPA) box.
Under the Outgoing Mail Section,
Enter mail. your domain name in the Server field Provided and 465 as the Port Number.
Select SSL/TLS For the Encryption Method, and Tick the Require login using Secure Password Authentication (SPA) box.
Click on Next.
Enter the password for your cPanel email account and click on Connect. Kindly wait for the Account Setup to Complete. Click on Ok.
Email account setup is successful.
