In this WordPress tutorial, I will guide you on how to change the display name and Password of your WordPress User Account.

Let’s begin with How to change the Display Name.
Step 1
Login to your WordPress Admin Dashboard.
Step 2
On your left, Under the Dashboard Menu, Click on Users. A pop up appears beside the Users, Select Profile. This takes you to the Profile Page.
Step 3
Scroll down to the Nickname Section. Enter the name you want to use in the field provided. In my case Shostdemotk.
At the “Display Name Publicly as”, click on the dropdown arrow in the field provided to select the name you want to display publicly on your website. I want Shostdemotk to show publicly on my site so I will click on that.
Scroll down to the bottom and click on Update Profile. Profile Updated Successfully.
Display name on WordPress User Account successfully changed.
Now: How to change the Password.
On your left, Under the Dashboard Menu, Click on Users. A pop up appears beside the Users, Select Profile. This takes you to the Profile Page.
Scroll down to the Account Management Section
Click on the “Set New Password” field beside the New Password. A drop-down Field appears. You can now enter your new Password in the field.
Please Note; Make sure you clear the default password and set a strong password to prevent your account from being hacked.
Scroll down and click on Update Profile.
Password successfully Updated/Changed
