How to Update or Reset Custom Email Password in your cPanel

In this tutorial, I will take you through the steps on how to update or reset the password of your custom email in your cPanel.
Let’s get started.
“At the time of recording this tutorial, cPanel only offers the option to update custom email passwords from the cPanel dashboard. This means, you need access to the cPanel dashboard to make this update.”
Step 1
Log into your cPanel. Click on Email Accounts in the Email section. This takes you to your Email accounts page.
In this tutorial, I’ll be resetting the password for my custom email [email protected].
Step 2
Click on Manage between the Check Email and Connect Devices of the custom mail you are resetting the password for. This takes you to the Manage Email Account page. Enter your new password under the Security section. Scroll down and click on Update Email Settings.
Password Reset successful.
Let’s access the webmail log-in interface to try out the new password. To access your email log-in interface enter your domain name /webmail. Eg. abc.com/webmail.
Log in successful.
