Because I have been using this product for about a week, it is too soon to see or know if it will improve my skin texture. All I can do is compare it to another similar oil capsule from Elizabeth Arden, Ceramide. Because my skin is super allergic to most cosmetics, I like the purity of the oil.
There are subtle differences between the two, similarly priced items.
Elemis has fragrance, Ceramide none. Some may be bothered by fragrance, I rather like it. Each of the two Elemis caps has it's own unique, vaguely herbal fragrance.

Elemis has an AM and PM cap which is used on the eye and face. Ceramide, has an eye cap and different face cap, but you use the same one in the AM and PM
The Elemis oil remains on the skin surface, not a problem at night, but I find I have to leave it absorb for ca. 2 hrs after the AM application before I can continue adding moisturizer--manufacturer's instructions--otherwise it slides on the oil instead of absorbing. Not everyone has this time luxury in the AM. By contrast, the Ceramide absorbs instantly. I don't know what this means, or if one is richer than the other. BOTH leave the skin feeling dewy and moist all day. After 2 hours, the Elemis leaves my face with an attractive sheen.

A very minor point, but the Elemis capsule is much easier to open than Ceramide
Finally, Elemis is a little more sringy than Ceramide with the product in each capsule.

I have used the cellular capsules for over a year. They moisturize my skin and leave it fresh and smooth. I apply it with enough time to have it soak into my skin before I apply anything over it. Sometimes I just put the capsule serum on my face and wear nothing over it. I have very sensitive and extremely dry skin and have no problems with this product.
