Escue quick kill (7sec both forms, no cross bombs) [Metroid Dread]
Combining the current quick strat for the main form and justnzane's quick core-x kill ( • Metroid Dread Escue X core 2 hit screw att... ). For the main form, just spark downward onto it right as it appears, immediately flash shift left, and respin. Then after a few hits shift to the right so it doesn't fly away. The shinespark has a bit of a sweetspot where it can't be too left or Escue will get knocked right, and it can't be too right or your flash shift won't end up above it. Then for the core, you want to strike it from above at the shallowest angle you can, still being aware of whether you're on the right or left side, then immediately respin in that direction to hit it again. You want to hit it right as it fully forms; too early and you will go inside it before hitting and lose too much height to get the second hit, too late and there will be no gap in its iframes. I'm not very up to date on the hottest strategies but as far as I know this is the quickest kill for Escue. Good luck!
