Replacing the flexible flat lcd ribbon cable and hinge pivot in the GPD Win 2
Not terribly hard but not easy either.
Once you remove the old cable I'd strongly suggest practicing rolling it up and installing the old damaged cable through the pivot several times before you try with the new replacement cable.
If your screen backlight turns on but nothing else does, the screen flickers or only turns on at certain angles it is almost certainly a damaged ribbon cable.
Damaged ribbon cables are a warranty item and you can contact kendyz @ gpd.hk with an video of your screen issue and they should send you one.
