With Cia defeated, peace returned to Hyrule. However, that peace would soon be short-lived.
When Link removed the Master Sword, he inadvertently release the last of the spirit fragments. With all four released, Ganondorf was reborn. He returns to his homeland, Gerudo Desert, and summons the spirits of Zant and Ghirahim to aid him in his renewed conquest.
