Sometimes moving a loan through the approval process doesn't go as smoothly as one would want.
Most of the time it is because a lender didn't dive into the the client's story deep enough to get all the necessary backgrround information.
It is important for you to share your complete employment history, any additional income streams, and additional real estate properties you are attached to.
Transparency is important.
Keep in mind that if you are give a preapproval letter, it is always subject to a full underwriting review of your loan. A preapproval letter does not equal full approval.
To avoid any bumps in the approval process, I get your full story and the documentation to support it at the beginning so that the underwriter has everything when your file is being reviewed.
