Have you ever wondered why you get solicitations after your closing? Here’s why.
After your closing, your mortgage gets recorded at the Register of Deeds. This recording now becomes public record. This means your address is now public and the solicitations start to arrive in the mailbox.
Most of the time the solicitations appear to be coming from your lender with a request for you to take action because it is “time sensitive”.
We share what to do with these solicitations in our Mortgage Tip of the Week.
Know of someone who recently closed on a home? Pass our email on to them so they know what action to take.
If you have questions that you would like answered in a Mortgage Tip of the Week, let me know! I'm certain others have the same question(s) as you!
