In this video we will compare a real dinosaur park and the one in the movie Jurassic Park. We'll calculate how much the dinosaurs cost, their maintenance and more!
The original Jurassic Park was supposed to be the most grandiose and expensive park in history and bring in unprecedented profits. Billions of dollars were spent on its creation. Journalists have calculated how much it would cost to build and maintain it in reality. Only to begin research, collecting DNA dinosaurs and their cloning would cost twenty-six million dollars.
But the island at Costa Rica would cost ten billion dollars. The construction of the park itself, including buildings, roads, fences and security systems would cost one and a half billion dollars. Employee salaries, electricity, water and transportation costs - eleven and a half billion dollars a year
Well, food for the dinosaurs would only cost two hundred million dollars a year.
