IMPORTANT: I have a new video which shows you how to install for Cinema 4D 2023, and best of all is that it's free! (you do not need an Octane license). If you want to stay on R25/S26, you can still watch that video to install a newer version of Octane, you just have to be on Mac OS Monterey.

Hello! Here’s how to install Octane X PR13 for Cinema 4D R25 on a MacBook Pro M1/M1 Pro/M1 Max running Mac OS Monterey (12.0.1)

0:00 - Intro
0:15 - Install Octane Standalone
0:56 - Sign out of previous Octane accounts (if installed elsewhere)
2:08 - Install Octane Cinema 4D Plug In
3:24 - Make Cinema 4D run on Rosetta
4:00 - Security and Privacy issue
4:20 - Disable Security Gateway using Terminal
5:06 - Opening Cinema 4D & Octane
6:13 - Re-Enable Security Gateway using Terminal
6:32 - Finishing Up

Terminal Commands to Copy and Paste during the disable and re-enable gateway settings section:

[Command to Disable Security Gateway]
sudo spctl --master-disable

[Command to Re-Enable Security Gateway]
sudo spctl --master-enable
