Elizabeth (Lizzie) is a rising college senior who appreciates Learning Ally’s vast audiobook library. “As a student who is visually impaired, Learning Ally is a tremendous asset,” she said. “I have been able to find the books I need for my classes, including theology and philosophy, and keep pace with my studies and classmates.”
With access to Learning Ally, Lizzie takes all the required classes she is interested in. She has discovered genres she is interested in and enjoys reading for pleasure and to explore future educational pursuits.
Lizzie is also enrolled in the College Success Program where she is connected to a mentor who has helped her navigate the college experience. “My mentor and this program have meant the world to me. I’m so grateful to have the guidance and the friendship I have developed with my mentor.”
