I messed around with the idea of switching up the text colors to match our character colors for this video, but ultimately fell back to the normal colors. Would’ve just made writing the “featuring/text color” portion of the description really annoying. Plus we swapped our colors around several times throughout the session and most of us didn't even have names indicative of ourselves, so the confusion was double-stacked.
All of this footage except for the intro was from a session we played during a blizzard in January of this year (the only reason we had enough for Among Us), so it's been a while. I can’t lie, I’ve been feeling a good bit of burnout from editing this kind of stuff which has pushed back more than just this video, which really isn't a big deal. I just feel a little bad since some of those projects that have been pushed back I had sorta promised or implied I’d work on, and haven’t…
I think what made this video particularly annoying was the amount of subtitling that pretty much needed to be there. I’ve never really made an Among Us video and this game is all about discussion, and with how I personally subtitle, this was mostly not a fun video to make, but I’m pretty happy with the final result.
