Welcome back to Remembering, this time: 2024
The concept should be quite familiar by now, but as always I'll give an overview if you're new. Remembering is series that I contribute to at the end of every year since 2021 that primarily includes notable events from aerospace and meteorology, as well as events from my own life and miscellaneous subjects even beyond that. Each event is tied to a number (top left) that corresponds to a description found in the pinned comment and replies.
2024 was kind of incredible. I turned 20, Starship flew four times, I visited EAA AirVenture, I witness two bright aurorae, and saw a partial solar eclipse. When I was younger, 2024 and 2025 seemed impossibly distant; so many future events were tied to one of those dates, but now we're here.
