What you need:
Chocolate cake
Chocolate icing
Vanilla icing
1. For the spider web cake, in a circular pan bake a chocolate cake. You can either make a cake from scratch or one from a box, it’s up to you!
2. Completely ice the cake with chocolate icing, Make sure all the sides are covered for a complete look. You can use another color of icing, but a darker color is preferred since you want to use vanilla icing to replicate the web.
3. Next, put your vanilla icing in a piping bag with a small tip (or you can use an icing that already comes in a can with a piping tip) and start to draw a spiral, starting from the center of the cake.
4. Once you bring the spiral to the outskirts of the cake, you’re ready for the next step. Take a toothpick and make straight lines, starting from the center of the cake to the outside of the cake. These are the lines that will make the icing look like a spider web.
