Configure VPC and Subnets using VPC Wizard on AWS | Part-25 | Hari's Academy
Hey guys.
This is the Part 25 of AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate course. In this section we are going to learn how to create a VPC, one Public and One Private Subnets using VPC Wizard.
Below are the steps need for the demo:
Demo on Configuring a VPC with 2 Subnets (Public & Private):
1) Create an Elastic IP address by going to EC2 - EIP.
2) Go to VPC Dashbpard and Click on Launch VPC Wizard.
3) Select the second option which says "VPC with Public and Private Subnets".
4) All the CIDR ranges are auto populated and only thing we need to do is select the AZ for each of the subnets.
5) Also, for NAT gateway, we need to select the EIP which we already created in first step. Then click on Create VPC.
Voila !!! we have successfully completed the Demo. Please dont forget to delete the NAT gateway first, followed by releasing EIP address, then we can delete the VPC which will delete all that is present under a VPC. This way we dont end up with the charges. Also, please note the NAT gateways are billable and are not covered under Free Tier Pricing.
