EFS Demo Part-17 |Zero To Hero in ~ AWS Certified Solutions Architect- Associate 2020|Hari's Academy
Hey guys.
This is the Part 17 of AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate course. In this section we are going to see EFS and its Demo.
EFS - Elastic File System. This works on NFS Protocol and so only Linux EC2's can be attached to EFS.
For both Windows EC2 & Linux EC2 to be attached we can use FSx as it works on Samba Protocol and it is accessible in both Windows & Linux EC2.
Demo on EFS:
1) Security Group for EFS
2) Create an EFS - Elastic File System
3) 2 EC2 Instances on 2 different AZ's (ap-south-1a and ap-south-1b)
4) mount the EFS to both the EC2's.
5) Write a file on to EFS using any of the EC2 Instances.
6) Verify if the file is accessible on other EC2 Instance.
