** inquire with your local butcher
Many people don't keep the organs, and you may be able to get them for free or a low price per pound. I ask for the following:
** heart
** liver
** kidneys
** spleen
** tongue
** soup bones
Everything I get is grass fed/finished and not exposed to chemicals.
I don't score a haul THIS good all the time, but it happens enough to result in a cost savings thanks to my amazing friends who connect me with excellent sources.
