6.0 powerstroke - cold start - cost breakdown - 6.0 powerstoke advice
So here is a general break down of my costs for rebuilding my 6.0 powerstroke engine. Obviously your circumstances will be different depending on your means, tools already owned, etc... I went hard because I didn't want to be in the engine again. If you have any questions just ask below. So before I go over the cost breakdown I do a cold start of the freshly rebuilt engine. Now previously the truck always and I mean always had a 3-5 second crank time. With the rebuild I did a new 6.4 powerstroke starter and it turns the truck over much faster, and it is also a gear reduction starter.
