2006 dodge Cummins 3500 starter motor hack / starter wont start
Yesterday at subway I had my starter motor not want to cooperate. Upon getting under the truck I realized it wouldn’t be so easy to jump the strayer off as the terminals were on different sides of the starter, not like usual where they are next to each other. Well some quick thinking saved my bacon. I carry everything needed to work on my truck or camper. So I had left over solar wiring. I ended up using a 3/0 solar wire I had made to jump the top and bottom terminal on the starter off and saved a Hefty towing bill.
