Main steps of Optifine 1.8.1 installation:
1. run Minecraft launcher
2. run the game and quit after a few seconds, then close the launcher
3. double-click the downloaded Optifine 1.8.1 file
4. click the 'Install' button
5. after Optifine 1.8.1 is installed, click the 'Ok' button
6. run Minecraft launcher
7. make sure that the profile is selected on 'OptiFine' (or select the 'OptiFine' profile)
8. click play
