this video shows an installation of the 'XRay-4.0.2-Beta.jar' file
Main steps of XRay Mod 1.8.6 installation:
1. run Minecraft launcher and then click the 'Edit Profile' button and select 'release 1.8.6' from the 'Use version' list and save (click the 'Save Profile' button)
2. run the game and quit after a few seconds, then close the launcher
3. double-click the downloaded XRay Mod 1.8.6 file
4. select the profile you wish to install Xray (select 1.8.6) and then click the 'OK' button
5. enter a name for the new modded profile and then click the 'OK' button
6. after XRay Mod 1.8.6 is installed click the 'OK' button
7. run the launcher
8. click 'new profile', rename 'profile name' to e.g. 'xray' and select 'release 1.8.6-XRay' from the 'use version' list; save
9. make sure that the 'profile' is selected on 'xray'
10. click play
