*UPDATE* JUST TO CLEAR A FEW THINGS UP FIRST:
We were there for 15 minutes or so to collect b-roll footage to start this site. Not "looking for trouble" That is not what this site is about.
We had previously informed the PD we would be filming them regularly. Either this Sgt didn't get the message, or they didn't take us seriously.
Parking brake is not required when occupied. This is "standing". Demand for ID was illegal.
We admit many times that we didn't handle it as well as we would have liked, but please note it was a REACTION to their actions.
Our issue was not that they may have been curious what we were doing. It was their decision to treat us like criminals by lighting us up and surround our car with armed officers. That is why we chose to remain silent (as the Supreme Court recommends when confronted by police).
I was reluctant to upload this video because I wasn't proud of my response. I decided to go ahead for 3 reasons: It shows another trick to watch for; It's another example of the importance of not giving up rights; and, fair is fair. I can take it.
At the end when they are entering my info, they tag me and my vehicle with a BOLO (be on the lookout). Nice to be tagged by the police as a criminal for photography.
