Great sounding ALCO S-2 on the MD&W
The MD&W has four ALCO S-2's that still earn their keep up in International Falls MN. which is known as the nation icebox. The first clip of #18 has just crossed the bridge from Canada, and is pulling into the yard on the US side. They make several trips a day crossing the border. These little beauties still run today, and are kept in excellent condition. They are usually rotated day, using two one day, and the other two the next... Jackmp294 Video taken 4/11/2000
