Sarah and Markus are caught in a vicious circle: Even small discussions escalate into heated arguments in which they shout at each other and even insult each other. The reason: The two have completely different attachment styles. While Sarah constantly seeks closeness and security because she's afraid of losing the relationship, Markus feels completely pressured and withdraws – which only exacerbates Sarah's fear of loss. Additionally, her ADHD diagnosis often causes her problems with their relationship.
In the last few months, the situation has become so dire that they argue every day, are emotionally exhausted, and simply don't know how to get out of it. Markus reacts so violently at times that Sarah is even afraid of him, while he feels completely unconsidered.
