Around Langenselbold Station [Kinzigtalbahn] – featuring a transfer trip by SOB
I visited Langenselbold Station twice in January 2025. The first time, the rain drove me away, and then I went back a few days later in glorious sunshine.
As always, there's regular rail service with regional express trains, regional trains, ICE trains, and FlixTrains. There are also a few freight trains and traction engine rides – as well as a transfer of a Siemens Desiro Classic from Mühldorf to Kassel.
I also take a look at the train protection systems (PZB and LZB) and the direction indicators installed here.
