I am looking at utilizing some of the new color OLED displays in my projects. I have two variants the SSD1331 and the ST7735. Should note that the ST7735 version is 2/3 the size of the SSD1331 --and both come in a package less than 1 inch square.

There are no Tayloe Detectors or ADE-1's involved in this evaluation. The cost -- I got two of the ST7735's for less than $6 total delivered from China. Delivery was in about 10 days. Super cool beans.

Should also mention there is a universal graphics library called Ucglib --that will operate these two different displays. Simply uncheck the model you are using and you are good to go. But there were some learning curve tricks that I needed to learn --about two days to get them both working.

The low cost and low power consumption make them ideal for QRP or retrofitting into existing QRP rigs.

I have not seen many videos where these were actually used in a Radio -- lots of evaluations using the sample programs --so this may be a first. Otherwise tell me how you applied these displays.
