Dream Station: Hermes Lite 2.0, KWM-2 Drake C Line
You get the fun and excitement with rigs that were once top of the line (KWM-2 and C Line) but then you get the leverage of the latest SDR technology withe Hermes Lite 2.0. The KWM-2 new was $1250 (1963 price), the Drake C Line about $1000 with the supply and The HL2 at $300 @200plus an additional $200 for a SS Amp.
This is my Studio B and I must say I tend more to the HL2 just because it has so many features.
Note no homebrew stuff here -- just no space at Studio B.
